Your Style DNA:

You’re a BOLD EXPRESSIONIST

Your Main Obstacle:

Navigating a DECISION FOG

YOUR DESIGN PERSONALITY

You've never been particularly interested in playing it safe, and your home shouldn't have to either.

You light up around color, pattern, and choices that make a statement — not because you're trying to impress anyone, but because that's genuinely how you see the world.

A room that blends quietly into the background isn't a room that interests you. You want your home to have energy and personality and a point of view.

You're not afraid of bold decisions —

if anything, you're more afraid of ending up with a home that no one has any reaction to whatsoever.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Most design paralysis happens because you're evaluating things without any context.

YOUR FIRST ACTION

Why This First

A clear vision doesn't just tell you what belongs in a room — it tells you what doesn't even need to be considered. That sofa you keep going back and forth on? Your vision will either rule it in or rule it out, and either way you'll feel clearer than you have in months.

What To Do

Sit in the room quietly for a few minutes. Then write down how you want to feel when you're in this room. What's the statement this room is making? What's the one thing you want someone to notice first when they walk in? A Bold Expressionist's vision often starts with a single powerful image or idea — a color, a piece of art, a feeling — and builds outward from there. Start there and let the rest follow.

The Challenge

Paradoxically, people with the strongest aesthetic instincts can sometimes be the most frozen by decisions — because you can see so many exciting possibilities at once and you don't want to close any of them off. The vision won't close them off. It will just help you see which ones are right for this particular room, right now.

Some Encouragement

You've never lacked for ideas. What you needed was a framework for choosing between them. That's exactly what the vision gives you — and exactly what we build on together from here.

WHAT COMES NEXT

Your Design Personality and your Starting Point are just that — a starting point.

Where you go from here depends on things a quiz can't ask you: your stage of life, your budget, who you share your home with, and the specific rooms that need the most attention.

That's exactly why I created the Slow Style Framework.
