Zandra’s Fall Edit

When the weather starts to turn cooler and we’re all looking for a cozier environment, I like to lean on objects with a handmade feel.

The days are getting shorter, we’re spending more time at home, lighting candles in the early afternoon, making stews and baked goods. We’re looking forward to curling up with a good book, surrounding ourselves with blankets and pillows we can sink into.

These are the items from Aware House that I’d choose for my own home in the fall.

NOTE: This isn’t a sponsored post and I’m not getting paid by Aware House to recommend anything. I simply want to share this new marketplace I’ve found and encourage you to think about buying quality over quantity.

Aware House

  • A soup bowl investment to end the cycle of buying new bowls each time they chip.

  • I'd use a set of these for pastas or stews. Or buy just one to hold pinecones or gourds.

  • This looks like it would feel so good in your hand! I think I'd choose the speckled one.

  • After this one burns down, I'd reuse it as a vase. Or get a candle refill kit.

  • I love block prints. And these all have great fall colors with easy-to-mix patterns.

  • If you'd like to mix in some nubby neutrals, there are several to choose from.

  • A shot of deep burgundy with a terrific pattern in a throw you'll have forever.

  • A classic window pane pattern, and I love the colors on both sides.

  • Cut a few branches with colored leaves for a stunning arrangement.

  • I love setting my table with seasonal colors, minus the ubiquitous pumpkin motif.

  • I'd mix this with the Gooseberry napkins. Or keep it simpler, like you see here.

  • I use cutting boards as serving boards. They're equally pretty in the kitchen and dining room.
